Diane Vogt (MI 1980; FL 1989) and Lori-Ann
Rickard (MI 1986; FL 1998) are lawyers
and principals in PeopleWealth,
a consulting firm serving the profession
by improving job satisfaction for lawyers
and keeping experienced lawyers available
to the public. Our book entitled “Keeping
Good Lawyers: Best Practices to Create
Career Satisfaction” was published
by the American Bar Association Law
Practice Management section in May 2000.
The book is the first book published
specifically for lawyers on retention
issues. Our experience includes work
as associates and partners in a large
law firm where we served as mentors,
as well as on the Training Committee,
the Recruiting Committee and the Marketing
Committee. Diane was a member of the
Michigan Bar’s Law Firm Marketing Committee
and now serves on the Florida Bar Standing
Committee on Quality of Life/Stress
Management. Lori-Ann serves on the Michigan
State Bar Special Committee on Quality
of Professional Life. Diane also taught
law school for six years as an Adjunct
Professor at Wayne Law School from 1987
to 1991, and as a visiting instructor
at USF. She has been “AV” rated by Martindale
Hubbel since 1990 and has been selected
a Leading Florida Attorney. She practices
in Tampa, specializing in product liability
defense litigation. Lori-Ann was corporate
counsel for a billion dollar health
system in Michigan. She also implemented
a broad based compliance plan for 20,000
employees and 2,500 physicians.
